THOMAS V. LAWLOR

Tom Lawlor is the Co-Founder & Principal of Baker & Lawlor, LLC. Prior to forming Baker & Lawlor, Mr. Lawlor was a Vice President in Eurohypo's Structured Finance group, and was responsible for the origination, structuring and negotiation of CMBS, construction, bridge and mezzanine loans.  Mr. Lawlor also spent over 5 years at Bear Stearns, most recently as a Vice President, charged with co-directing the Western Region loan origination platform.  He directed all aspects of the business, including the sourcing and structuring of loans, due diligence, closing and sale/securitization of loans. Prior to that, Mr. Lawlor was an analyst in MassMutual's Real Estate Finance group, where he led the annual risk management review and valuation of the existing $1.3 billion loan portfolio.  Mr. Lawlor’s transaction experience totals over $2.5 billion and includes office, industrial, retail, self-storage, mobile home parks, multi-family, and hotel properties, fixed and floating rate loan structures (portfolio and CMBS), first trust deed, mezzanine/structured finance, bridge loans and large portfolio financings.

Mr. Lawlor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. In addition to passing the Series 7 & 63 exams, he is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and certified Green Property Advisor.  Mr. Lawlor resides in Santa Monica, California and is active in a number of real estate and philanthropic organizations.
